Paul's condition

Paul had been in hospital since last tues, 9 dec. His oncologist referred another consultant surgeon, Dr Chan to do an endo-scope for him yesterday after they tried putting him on very soft blended diet for a couple of days and tried other new medicine on him but all didn't work as he still vommitted every day and the cough didn't subside at all. Chest x-ray still showed water near the lung area.

According to Dr Chan paul's intestine was extremely dirty and sore as it was not able to digest his food and the pressure had forced the food to reflux upwards, thus causing all the severe coughing and vommitting. All these could be the cause of the effects of radiation and/or the adhesion inside/near his abdomen. He's on iv now and is not taking any food or drink orally. They hope the intestines can be eased off by Friday so that Dr Chan can do another scope on Saturday to take a better look and see if it's possible to do a dilation of the intestine so that the food can pass through easily.

I have not been sleeping at home for the past 6nites and finally can sleep on my own bed tonite since Paul's feeling better after doctor flushed out lots of toxin from his intestines and his cough had subsided last night.

I pray that Paul will be healed soon and be well and come home soon.
