Paul was admitted this morning again at about 4am. He was having some discomfort at the gastric area at about 12am and after giving him some morphine, he was better for awhile until about 1.30am when he felt severe pain. I called his oncologist and gave him some medications again and the pain subsided. He was in cold sweat at around 3.45am and couldn't take the pain anymore and I spoke to his oncologist to arrange for him to be admitted. Peter and Maureen sent us to the hospital and after a jab of strong painkiller, his pain stopped. The doctor did an ECG on him and found some irregularities and called in the cardiologist.

He was warded in the ICU as the repeat ECG test still showed some abnormality in the heartbeat. He was monitored closely and the final bloodtest showed negative results and the last ECG report showed everything was back to normal at around 4pm. But since he had some symptoms of mild obstructions of the heart as he was in cold sweat as well as there were some traces of blood in his ng bag, to be on the safe side, the cardiologist would like him to continue to stay in the ICU for observations for the night.

We don't know what is the cause of this severe pain which is his 2nd attack(first attack was on his last cycle of chemo on 7 apr), we pray that it's nothing serious and he will be well very soon.
