A very special day!

Today is a very special and memorable day for me. If Paul were still here, we would definitely be travelling to somewhere to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Last year was the only time we celebrated our anniversary in Singapore as Paul had to be hospitalised. Though both of us knew at that time that it could be our last chance to celebrate this very special and meaningful occasion together but we were still hoping for a great miracle to take place. I can still remember how Aunty Jenny, Nieer and Ailing surprised us at the hospital together with Mum and Maureen with cake and gifts. Looking back, i couldn't believe that was actually my last 37days with my hubby before God took him home. Paul was still so active on that day except with some air in his lungs. He was chatting with them, thanking them for the gifts and was so happy to receive the gift(a very nice pyjamus from Marks & Spencer). He told me he wanted to wear it when he gets better but that day didn't come......

Though I miss him terribly especially on special occasions, life must still go on and I pray for strength to continue to live well. I have been truly blessed with a wonderful family and beautiful memories of him. It's not easy to forget someone whom you love so much but i just have to keep reminding myself that at least i had experienced a beautiful and memorable relationship which money can never buy.

Though we can't celebrate this day together physically, i will rejoice as my hubby is in paradise and he is watching over me and we will meet again someday.
