It has been a wet week - raining almost every day last week. Last Saturday, we were invited to The Berth for dinner at the invitation of James & Lisa. A cosy, lovely home - James & Lisa have. A pity that it rained and we couldn't have bbq by the poolside. Nevertheless we enjoyed each other's company and the food was yummy. Joel had 3 burgers - so you can imagine that the burgers must be really yummy. There was so much food. The bbq prawn and fish was really really good. We miss Nieer and Mona that night so it was much much quieter. The presence of 2 of them would make the atmosphere different. It was good to be able to watch fireworks there as well. Uncle and Aunty bought huge watermelon and other fruits for us and they were really sweet. Thanks a million for a wonderful night.



The night however did end with another adventure. We were already on our way out of the Berth when we received a phone call from Julia that Peter's car could not get started. Thus we drove back and we tried to jam start but wasn't successful. Vehicle mechanic was called to have the car towed away and we were all ready to have all 8 of us squeezed into Daniel's car. Fortunately, Daniel decided to just try again - fixed back the car key and tried starting again. You know what - it was successful. Hurray, we were able to get home safely in 2 cars.
