We have not played table tennis for awhile since one of our key players, Peter is sick...
I truly believe he will recuperate soon though his platelets dropped even lower to 22,000 today from 49,000 on sunday. With lots of interceding from VFC, SOLF, relatives and friends, I believe God will watch over him and he will get well very soon....
We are waiting to see Peter home and playing table tennis with us.... Even our domestic helper, who had been with us only for a short while feel something's missing as Peter is always the first among us(besides Aunty Jenny) to wake up in the morning.... he is well known as a very dedicated and commited daddy, hubby and a responsible person. He will always check that all the doors and gates are locked before we go to bed, ensuring his children are ok, the dogs' cage is cleaned etc etc.... Now Maureen has to take over the security side and Joel has taken over daddy's responsibility in chaufferring the siblings and Mummy...
Let's continue to shake heaven with our prayers!
We are truly looking forward to seeing Peter home.
On the other hand, Paul had not been well these 2 wks. He had done a PET scan and endoscope and praise God that there's no sign of tumour inside him but he's suffering from severe gastritis. The medications didn't help and he was referred to Dr Teh, a consultant gastroenterologist today. Since this is the first time he's seeing Dr Teh and based on Paul's medical history and symptoms, Dr Teh had prescribed other medications and hopefully it helps. Aunty Jenny had also read up alot of medical journal and made him some ginger with red date drinks last night.
Since Mum suffered from gastric ulcer before, she knows how is it like and she's brewing some drinks to enhance his immunity.
I am truly thankful that all of us are staying under one roof.. We are able to take care of each other and all these are shown esp now!
