Was away so often that i missed church for 3 consecutive sundays and was so glad to be back again yesterday. Pastor Chew shared a very touching sermon about "How to fight for Joy(part IV)". He gave a lot of illustrations about the weapon, which is the "Gospel". We should inspect our weapon and use it in the right way. Well, i shall not go into details of the sermon but just want to share some phrases which touched me deeply:-

-"When we truly encounter God, our lives cannot be the same as before we were saved"

-"As we wait upon God, He will come."

-"We cannot offer Grace before repentance(Pastor asked this very relevant question: 'Do we come to God just for blessings or do we truly long for His presence and understand the true meaning of "Grace"?)

-"Many are trying to confuse us and make us believe the distorted Gospel. We must stay close to God and pray for wisdom and discernment"

-"Do we have the right spirit in us?"

..... and many more.

Once again, i thank God for His Grace and Mercies on me and it's just amazing how i could cope without Paul by my side for 5mths(tomorrow is exactly 5mths). I know it's impossible if i don't have God who gives me the strength that i need so badly.

I will be leaving for macau with daniel & maureen together with 2 other couples tomorrow morning and i know being away had also played a big part in helping me to cope. I still miss Paul dearly but i know we will meet again one day...
