We landed at around 2am this morning. It was another good trip for me. We spent one day shopping and dining at Zhu Hai and every night we would gather in my suite for fellowship until past midnight.
Jo and Eric joined us on 25mar at almost 3am and we upgraded to a much bigger suite with garden terrace and it was such a beautiful suite and the space was incredible(almost 1850sf excl terrace).
The shopping and food was really good. We had 4 full days and who said macau is only for gamblers? There were so much to do everyday and we plan to stay over at Zhu Hai for at least one night should we visit macau again. The weather was great last two days.
We celebrated Daniel and Maureen's 22nd wedding anniversary in our suite on 26th mar and we surprised them with freshly baked mango cake and the hotel also gave us a complimentary beautiful box of chocolates. I pray that God will continue to bless their marriage and may their love for each other continue to blossom everyday.
I can never forget their anniversary as it is also my dear hubby's birthday. If he's around today, he would be 52yrs old. I remember how we celebrated paul's past 2 birthdays during his battle with cancer. I remember how touched he was to see so many people during his birthdays. Though he was not physically with me, i still quietly wished him happy birthday and i believe he was celebrating in paradise.
When i reached venetian, especially when i was alone in my suite, it brought back so much memories of my hubby. That was our last vacation together after he finished all his chemo and radio-therapy treatment in aug 2008 and we decided to go for this vacation together with Eric, Jo and the children to celebrate but he only managed to enjoy treatment-free life for only less than 4mths before he had the relapse. Though i felt sad when i thought about him but i will always remember everything we did as a couple and i will continue to live my life well and draw strength from the Lord. He had definitely been a very good testimony to many who witnessed his fighting spirit and his optimism and faith in God. Though God didn't heal him for whatever good reasons that i do not know and understand but seeing how faithful and peaceful paul was esp the last week of his life on this temporary world, had made me a much stronger person. I know i can never forget him and he's just so special to me.....
