Another wonderful discovery

I chanced upon the older version of the book below two days ago. It was a gift from a sister-in-Christ to Paul on his baptism day on 29 Sept 2002. While reading it, two highlighted sentences caught my attention. My hubby was one who loved to read and he would make sure that he find out the meaning of those words he didn't understand. I was touched to see the highlighted sentences and if i know paul well enough, these sentences must have meant alot to him.

He used to read books and watched the vcds he enjoyed over and over again and i used to tease him about not getting sick of the shows and the books... Paul was a very "routine" person. He would do the same thing again and again.. It took him awhile to allow me to change his attire such as his working attire, his golf attire, his sports attire, his bags, wallets, handphone, toiletries etc etc. He didn't like changes too much but he got used to new things pretty fast.

I miss my darling alot and these are the two sentences he highlighted in the book:-

"Though sin brings great pleasure, it brings no joy."

"...the truth of the gospel, that the righteousness of Christ is given by faith alone."

I do not know when he highlighted the above sentences since he could have read the book many times but i believe paul was transformed and he truly had a personal encounter with God and his faithfulness is one i had witnessed and truly admired and i pray that i will be strong and learn the right path"

(this is the revised and expanded version of the book. get one and read. it's good!)
