Jonathan is enlisted today!!!

Our dear Jonathan had gone to the army camp this morning with daddy, mummy and of course his favourite grandma... Pam wanted to go so much but unfortunately she has to go to school

He was so vain that he actually went to cut his hair at a salon on wed as he thinks it will look better than getting the haircut in the camp but guess what???? He was so shocked to see himself "bo tak" that he refused to remove his cap even in the house and didn't allow us to see his bald head.. We are sorry that we are not able to post a picture of "bo tak" jonathan as he refused even after we pleaded with him many times.

We managed to convince him to let us see for a few seconds... it does look abit funny since he used to have nice long fringe but not too bad after all. I must say he has a nice round head.....

He was able to get some tips from Joel who had already gone through it and i am sure joel will be the best person to advise him on what and what not to do. He is very different from joel as joel had been athletic since young and also very fit and healthy whereas jonathan was more sickly when he was young. Though his asthma is much better as he grows older, we tend to be more worried about him as far as health is concerned. Well, let's hope that he's able to cope with army life as well as joel did and joel even received some medals(i think it's the most outstanding soldier award???- someone please correct me if i am wrong)

We hope that army life will toughen him up as he had been very sheltered all his life and we pray that God will protect him and see him through everything and will place him in the right camp with the right group of people.

We will miss him and we look forward to see a tanned, well-toned jonathan in 2 weeks' time.
