Paul had the procedure on Tuesday at 1pm to attach another tube from his liver to drain the bile into an external bag. There was no bleeding which is good news but according to both doctors, his recovery seems longer than normal. It's already more than 72 hrs since the procedure but he's still having severe pain every 4 hourly and had to be controlled by the morphine which at times didn't work for him and they had to inject strong painkiller to stop the pain. His right hand is still abit numb since tuesday and he has to exercise alot to get it recovered asap.

Doctor started him on tube feeding on wed but unfortunately after less than 2 pkts(ie 500ml), he felt the same bloatedness and discomfort as before the procedure. His pain seems to have travelled upwards towards his liver from the surgery hole since 1am and doctor just ordered another chest x-ray this morning. It's been recurring every few hours and we are waiting for the report now. I am not able to update daily as I will be staying over with him at the hospital.

To see him in pain is very torturing and i can understand at times he seems wanting to give up. We really do not understand why there's one problem on top of the unsolved problems but whatever it is, we will fight till the end. At least his jaundice has subsided. What more can I say.... It's upto God now!
