What's happening to this world?

Started paul on his milk feeding again yesterday after the lapse of 1 wk. He could only tolerate 2 cans and felt bloated after that. He stayed in the room the whole day as he wasn't feeling too well to go downstair. Gave him morphine in the morning and he rested and felt better later in the day.

We are sad with the news of the young man committed suicide two days ago when superficially everything looked good for him with his model good looks, academically smart, atheletic, bright future etc etc but he chose to end his life in such a traggic way... how sad... here my dear hubby is fighting so hard to be well...

Life is so unpredictable! We never know what happens next... The sudden disappearance of Air-France 447 with 228 passengers and crews missing and i just can't imagine how the loved ones feel esp the waiting, anticipation, anxiety..... I pray for peace for the family and hope they are able to find the airplane and the people very soon.

I personally feel that all of us should live everyday as though it's the last day for us on earth regardless of whether we are healthy or sick as we never know what's going to happen next. Make time for your loved ones and be nice to others.

I used to get very impatient(i am still abit impatient now) and strived to excel and get recognition in most of the things i do but ever since paul fell ill and being his caregiver, i realised life is more than just being one of the top. I try to practise self-control(it's not easy though) and i try my best to live everyday well so that i do not regret it. I am amazed with myself for the things i am able to do now which i never dreamt i would. It must be the strength from God!

I thank God that most of my family members are saved and we know that this world is just a temporary home.... Let's continue to pray for unsaved relatives and friends.

Lily
